Part A · Read — Chapter 3
The 3-part system; ranges & deviations
After this: stack structure, 200s and gray boxes into one read, and trade a range by its rules.
Three moving parts, nothing hidden
His system is market structure, the 200s, and S/R drawn as gray boxes, plus the occasional fib in price discovery. No open interest, no RSI. "If the system itself were alpha, I wouldn't be sharing it." The TA is only there to reaffirm a simple read ("bottom-right corner") so he's justified in acting on it.

Gray boxes: S/R forms horizontally
"You do not form support or resistance by moving vertically, you form it by moving horizontally." Draw a box wherever price keeps tapping one horizontal region. Use boxes, not lines, because they're speculative. The zone width should match your style: an HTF trader uses daily/weekly zones 5–10% wide.

Confluence: "the entire system agrees"
A gray box sitting on the 4H 200s makes a macro-top zone. Once price reclaims both and structure prints an HH, "all of a sudden our entire system agrees". From there, "we're either right or we're forced to readjust".
Knowing when not to apply it
MAs are self-fulfilling in trends and useless in chop. "The important part is not knowing when to apply the strategy, it's knowing when not to." In a range or consolidation he ignores the MA part completely and uses range rules until the trend tools become useful again. "You don't want to be a robot."

Range rules: lows → mid → highs
A range goes lows → mid → highs → mid → lows. "You buy range lows, you sell mid-range, you sell range highs." Keep doing that until it stops working.

Deviation: outside the norm, then back to it
A deviation is when price does "something outside of the norm only to resume the norm". If price breaks out and then falls back inside, expect mid-range and then the opposite side. "Fluke", "fake-out" and "bull trap" are all arbitrary labels for the same thing.

Breakout: don't fight the range
If the break above holds, "you do not fight the range… that is now your new trend". A 30%, 3-month range breaking out means expansion, not a top. The loser calls "it's probably nothing" and sits on their hands through a double-digit move.

Your entry is your invalidation
The template is a demand zone, a clean MA trail, and a stop hidden "below previous market structure". The thing that made you enter is the same thing that makes you exit. If the stop that structure implies is unrealistic (−36% on the daily), scale to a tighter one (below the 4H 200s + demand + the MS low) or skip the trade.

Always give a two-part analysis
Give a primary expectation, plus "if X, Y, Z happen, I stop anticipating that". Don't flip-flop. Adapt forward from the position you're actually in, like chess. Betting on one outcome is how he "got humbled in March of 2020".

If → then
- In a range → buy the lows, TP at mid and the highs.
- Breakout above the range holds → it's a new uptrend. Don't fade it.
- Breakout fails back inside → deviation. Expect mid, then the opposite side.
- Chop or range → switch off the MA part and use range rules only.
- Long setup = demand + clean MA trail + stop below the last MS low. Stop unrealistic → go tighter or skip.
- Every expectation comes with an explicit "I stop expecting this if…" list.
